CHAPTER 12. VISIT IN THE TRIANGULAR OFFICE

After all the blood samples had been collected, a final report was prepared for the sponsors, expressing concern that the post-vaccination abandonment of attending physicians may extend to other omissions, including the most serious omissions from going to elections and voting.

The sanitary inspection is looking for Virus aureus All interested researchers met at the meeting analyzing the preliminary results obtained in Sarmalandia. The most interesting thing was not what was established, but the concern expressed in the summary that the TCER polymorphism may cover not only health-promoting behaviors, but also voting ones. The meeting realized that they had to go back to the Ameerland Medicine Study datasets, find Muti Vir-Virr vaccinated, and determine their electoral preferences. A special working group has been appointed for this purpose. Everything began to touch such a delicate matter that they again went to Lankenton for blessing. The Union of Autonomous States has long had two parties, alternately winning power: one seduced the poorest with their electoral slogans, the other – the rich and middle class. They had practically equal supporters in the society and depending on the voter turnout, some won, then others. They were received by the chancellor of the rich, Greg Mac Forral.

Triangular Office

The party of the poor was unlucky that it was not in power this time, but that’s how it is with poverty that the wind often blows in its eyes. When the chancellor of the rich heard that it was possible to identify and, moreover, to produce his own voters, he beamed brighter than the sun at high noon. He grabbed the phone and asked for President Benjamin Grant, who had taken the high office in the Union of Autonomous States after the rich had won the last election.

“This is Greg Mac Forral, I have an extremely important topic to discuss. The gentlemen from the Ameerland Medicine Study are here and we’re talking about the health of our constituents. „Is there a war or an epidemic that you call and distract me from a game of golf?” the president asked. – No, no, everyone is healthy, and as for the epidemic, would you be interested in such a vision of the future that an epidemic of our voters will break out? That there will be as many of them as without trying on patients with flu during the greatest epidemic? “Of course, it’s a very cool vision.

What should we do? asked the genuinely interested president of the Union of Autonomous States “You must come to Lankenton. Not all issues can be discussed over the phone.

„I understand, then tomorrow at twelve o’clock at my place in the Triangular Office.” „Yes, boss, we’ll all be together.” „Gentlemen, the historic moment is approaching – you will present your plan to the president of the Union of Autonomous States tomorrow at twelve o’clock.”

„We are at your disposal, Mr. President,” Professor Mark Lenton replied with emotion. The thought of breeding a great new voter for the rich-cratic party made Professor Bohner sleepless. Lenton also had trouble falling asleep.

It wasn’t until dawn that he managed to take a two-hour nap. In the morning, he swam in the hotel pool to loosen his tense muscles after a sleepless night. After breakfast, he reviewed the documentation once more and became confident that it was possible to determine the type of relationship between voting preferences and the TCER polymorphism. When the clocks showed noon, Professors Bohner and Lenton and the whole team entered the Triangular Office of the President of Ameerlandia.

The southern wall of the office was a huge sheet of glass, beyond which stretched the Booton Ocean. The president’s desk was positioned so that the ocean was behind him. If he wanted to go out onto the vast terrace, it was enough to press a button and the entire panel with the desk moved outside. To the left of the desk was the front door, to the right was a round table with several chairs, where people sat down for short conversations.

The president greeted them with words that rang in the researchers’ ears for a long time:

– Hello gentlemen, you are the hope of our great homeland. The handshake was accompanied by the intense, penetrating gaze of the president’s magnetic black eyes. Lenton felt he would do anything for this man. „Please tell me about your discovery,” the president said. “We have good reason to believe that we are on the verge of discovering what drives people in their electoral decisions. And we are not talking about views that are changeable and fleeting. I mean permanent, new structures in the cells of the body, arising as a result of human intervention. That intervention is a vaccine.

We already know a lot about these new structures, we still need to determine what specific structures trigger the election of a given party.

„Well, well, well… it’s just a discovery!” the president called. „The main discovery is yet to come, we have to look deeper,” Professor Bohner put in. „I understand, what can I do for you?” the president asked. „We need approval for this state-of-the-art research … and funding, of course,” Lenton explained. „You’ve got both,” the president replied quickly. „Is a billion Ameerland reais enough?” – Thank you, we are convinced that this is the right sum.

– Good luck, gentlemen! Sorry, I have to finish now. “Thank you for everything, Mr. President,” Lenton bowed his head. President Benjamin Grant shook hands with Prof Bohner and Lenton, and the photographer captured the hug.

Everyone present in the Triangular Cabinet felt that it was a turning point in their lives. The researchers returned to Booton and began looking for connections. All microscopic images of 1715 samples inoculated with Muti Vir-Virr were reviewed once more. Nothing new was observed. After long deliberations, it was agreed that it was necessary to precisely determine the voting preferences of all subjects and to look for a new, more detailed way of imaging changes in the endoplasmic reticulum.

Mikroskop

After reviewing the state-of-the-art microscopes, it was decided to carry out additional research using an atomic force microscope.

Determining electoral preferences was quick and easy. The interviewers went to the homes of previously vaccinated families. Their job was to weave a question about political affiliation into a simple introductory conversation to health questions. Everyone gave an unconscious answer before the interviewer uttered the sacramental formula „We proceed to fill out the questionnaire.” 1,350 people remained in the database for final analysis. According to the data collected by the pollsters, 38% voted for the rich and 40% for the poor. For the rest of the respondents, it was not possible to obtain a clear answer. Such results indicated that it was necessary to look around for a device for more accurate imaging of the endoplasmic reticulum.
