The campaign 60x60 plus: An unforgettable companion on a journey to Novosibirsk

Everyone will remember Prof. Andrzej Langner (1935 - 2021)  was an outstanding professor of dermatology. In his professional career he was a propagator of photochemotherapy in Poland, and at the age of 60 plus he created in Iwonicz Zdrój a famous center for treatment of skin diseases.

I remember Andrzej as an excellent companion on a trip to Novosibirsk, Russia (1975), where we both gave lectures in Russian at a conference called "The Week of Polish Medicine in Novosibirsk".

Andrzej's excellent command of the Russian language, narrative talent, and ability to create bont mot’s in a foreign language delighted the hosts of our conference. Andrzej was also a kind colleague sharing his knowledge and experience with patients in need as well as with his fellow physicians and their families. I keep in grateful memory one such visit.

Say hello to Professor Grandpa - he said to a 4-year-old patient who came for a consultation. The patient in question remembers this meeting even though it took place over 30 years ago.
